Frequently asked questions
Follow-up
Conditions like diabetes and hypertension often don't cause symptoms in early stages, which is why medical guidelines recommend ongoing monitoring for patients with these diagnoses. The frequency of follow-ups depends on factors like your condition stability, medication types, and individual risk factors. Your doctor can advise what schedule is appropriate for your situation.
It depends on your condition and how stable it is. As a rough guide, patients with stable chronic conditions typically review every 3–6 months, whilst those with unstable numbers or new diagnoses may need more frequent visits initially. If we adjust your medications, we'll usually schedule a shorter interval to check you're tolerating them well.
Appointments & Scheduling
Your first visit is longer because we need to understand your history, check your current status, and set up a care plan. Follow-up visits are typically shorter and scheduled every 3–6 months depending on your condition. We keep waiting times reasonable, offer evening and weekend slots where possible, and arrange consultations, tests, and medication refills in one visit when we can. The goal is short, planned appointments that fit into your work and family schedule.
Yes, we do. We know that you're busy. That's why we've extended our hours to include evenings and weekends.
Cost & Payment
Yes, you may use MediSave for approved chronic conditions under the MediSave500 or MediSave700 scheme. Depending on your condition, you can withdraw up to $500 or $700 per year from your own or an immediate family member’s MediSave account. A 15% cash co-payment is usually required. However, if you are enrolled in the Healthier SG programme, you may use MediSave to fully cover your treatment at your enrolled Healthier SG clinic, up to the applicable annual MediSave withdrawal limits, without any cash co-payment.
Yes, if you have a valid CHAS, Pioneer Generation, or Merdeka Generation card, you can use it here for approved chronic conditions under the CHAS Chronic scheme. The subsidy amount depends on your card type, the condition being treated, and whether it's a simple or more complex visit. Our clinic staff can help you check your eligibility and estimate your subsidy for each visit.
